May 15, 2020

Vermont’s WCAX reported today that the Vermont emergency order is extended to June 15th, that Vermont has the lowest virus growth in the US, and that the state’s COVID-19 figures held nearly flat this week. Our response team met at length this morning to plan expanded testing, expanded in-clinic appointments, and thoughts on best next steps for behavioral health services. We look forward to sharing further details in the next week as they are finalized.

Given a general status quo for the week, today’s report is short and will end with a quick note and picture of appreciation. Thank you to the many in our region and state that have supported others and continued with acts of kindness. We are forever thankful for the giving, sacrifices, dedication, caring, and love of one another. The thought, setting and colors of this East Corinth scene are remarkable and could not be more fitting (please look on our website if you have trouble viewing the following picture through a list serve or other communication, it is worth the time to look!):

East Corinth Thank you
Be safe, take care, enjoy the weekend, and THANK YOU!

Televisit is not a replacement of traditional medicine; it is an extension of our traditional model of care. The Televisit allows our Doctors or Nurse Practitioners to diagnose and treat patients who are unable to make it to the office. From your computer or with the Healow app and a compatible mobile device, you can have a face-to-face conversation with a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner from the convenience of your home, hotel, or where ever you may be traveling. You must be web enabled on the Patient Portal to schedule a Televisit. If you are not, please ask our receptionist to web enable your account.
