With the decrease in COVID-19 activity in Vermont at this time, we will reduce our frequency of reporting changes in activity from daily to weekly. We will continue to report notable changes and will increase reporting upon an increase in activity. We will continue to report daily on our health center operations and our health services programs.
Through yesterday, we performed 200 tests on Little Rivers patients. One test was positive as reported on April 16, and we are waiting on results of only three tests. We performed 25 tests from outside referrals with no positive results as of yesterday.
Please spread the word about two events we will offer tomorrow. At noon, we will host ‘Need a Doc?’ and the first session of our Teen Speak Series will be tomorrow at 2 PM. Information about both programs and how to attend them is on our website home page at https://www.littlerivers.org/ under Upcoming Events and on our Facebook page.
The Journal Opinion featured a fantastic article today by Marianne Farr: “Local Providers Ready To Meet Health Care Needs”. Please find more information at the JO’s website http://www.jonews.com/
or on our website home page under Little Rivers In The News.

Televisit is not a replacement of traditional medicine; it is an extension of our traditional model of care. The Televisit allows our Doctors or Nurse Practitioners to diagnose and treat patients who are unable to make it to the office. From your computer or with the Healow app and a compatible mobile device, you can have a face-to-face conversation with a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner from the convenience of your home, hotel, or where ever you may be traveling. You must be web enabled on the Patient Portal to schedule a Televisit. If you are not, please ask our receptionist to web enable your account.
