Mia completed her Masters of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University in 2024. She is currently in the process of completing certification in Somatic Experiencing® (SE), a therapy that regulation using mindfulness. Mia spent many years as a yoga instructor and licensed massage therapist working in inpatient palliative care, outpatient oncology, and hospice. Mia takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to counseling drawing from Somatic Experiencing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), as well as mindfulness-based and compassion-oriented approaches. She supports a broad range of clients 18 years and older and has a special interest in helping clients facing cancer or other serious medical conditions, caregiving, grief, trauma, mood disorders and anxiety. In her free time, Mia loves to enjoy the great outdoors of VT/NH, salsa dance and when possible, travel to explore new places. supports the resolution of trauma and stress-related conditions through autonomic nervous system.
