Strengthening Families Through Shared Reading
Reach Out and Read gives young children a foundation for success by incorporating books into pediatric care and encouraging families to read aloud together. Reach Out and Read is a program that supports your child's language development by providing:
- Age-appropriate advice from your doctor about reading to your child
- A book for your child at regular checkups from 6 months through 5 years old
- A literacy-rich waiting room area
Reading is Doctor-Recommended!
Reading aloud is one of the most important things you can do to prepare your child to succeed in school and in life.

Televisit is not a replacement of traditional medicine; it is an extension of our traditional model of care. The Televisit allows our Doctors or Nurse Practitioners to diagnose and treat patients who are unable to make it to the office. From your computer or with the Healow app and a compatible mobile device, you can have a face-to-face conversation with a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner from the convenience of your home, hotel, or where ever you may be traveling. You must be web enabled on the Patient Portal to schedule a Televisit. If you are not, please ask our receptionist to web enable your account.
